Default roof myth ?

My friend who also has a del sol said that if i am jacking one side of the car up i should remove the roof first or it could warp.

Is this accurate or just bs?

Silliest thing I've ever heard. Maybe if you leave it jacked up for a VERY extended amount of time. When you have a car with a roof like that; take into example a typical T Top Firebird]. The roof has EXTRA support put through that roof to support it from collapsing. A built in roll cage in a simple sense. So you're answer. No your roof won't warp.

Yep.. the car relies on those t-tops or targa top for support and rigidity
