Default *$!kin' B series valve cover bolts

is it only me or does anyone else find that these things snap so freekin easy, i replaced all my valve cover bolts with oem honda ones after snapping the upper two for the plug cover. then yesterday i went to check my plugs and when taking off the plug cover i snapped /broke the top right one. I was extremely careful when taking them off having snapped two previously, when i was taking this one of (the final one) i had barely started to unscrew it and was careful not to exert any lateral force on it, and the damn thing snapped/sheared right off!!! the engine was hot at the time, could this cause the bolt head to be weaker, i'm really getting sick of these things snapping on me. i realise theyre very easy replaced but the ******* things should be able to take a little more abuse than that. I think that i'll just get some no name brand ones, which are half the price that honda charges for their weak *** pieces of crap...I'm actually ******* furious at the moment as they were brand new.

Must use torque spec when tightening.

i was taking them off and the rest werent on murder tight or anything like it, the shop that originally put them on did torque them according to spec for the engine

I had one break on me, but have had no problems with the others. I think the problem is when you're putting that little sparkplug cover on you're basically tightening two bolts together which has the effect of attempting to thread the stud further into the head. Since I stopped using that sparkplug cover I haven't had any shear on me *crosses fingers* though I do have an extra just in case

This is funny cuz mine don't break, but have a tendency to strip and keep spinning on the stud--then I'd have to break them my damn self and replace the studs in order to pull them bolts off pos bolts/studs.
