Hey I have a 94 hatchback and iam stuck with the stock d15b8 and I need some advice for what to swap in my budget is around 6000 and my friends tell me to do a b20 vtec but truly I want a type r but I need some help because I want to slap an engine in and feel like a stock ford focus and even touch me lol..give me your thoughts please

if all you are concerned about is beating a stock Ford Focus, dont even spend your money on a swap, run a few pounds of boost on your stock engine and you should be fine

lol i was just bullshittin i just said that because one has already beat me once but i have slap a bullfrog cam in my d15b8 so far and got a p28 ecu and now a focus cant touch me but..if possible help me out with chossing a bigger and better set-up
it all depends on alot of factors my friend, what kinda budget are you working with? what kinda numbers do you wanna put down? is this a DD or a race built car? etc. etc.
yeahh. boost an 8 valve. whos tha grasshopper? my recommendations, get a gsr swap, thats a good motor, for the price. but if you want to spend 4k on an engine go for the itr swap.

are u sure it really is a D15B8? cus those are actual 8valve motors (which can still b boosted, jsut about anything can really be boosted):

no all that 6000 is going straight to all motor i have about 2000 going to suspension and about 1000 going to rims and proly little money caps here and there ill throw in some new **** for suspension
well that would work but i wanna do b series cause there are more aftermarket parts for them..and my budget is desenct but iam 18 and still live at home so thats why i can have a budget like that and this swap iam planning on doing aint just gona happen over night it proly wont be done till may or some month around there cause i really had to cut alot **** i do to save up this much..you can do too just cut back on some **** and try to save up...before we hit the great deprestion lol
