I have a 2001 integra Gsr I have a problem opening the trunk the alarm it dosent open it and when I try the key that dose not work eather, it was fine before but dont no what happen. when I try to open it makes this weird noise but I am not sure what it is. dose any one have idea what could be wrong thanks.

 

take the panel off in the back and take a look to make sure everything is connected...

its just like 5 pins you push the middle in and pull the whole pin out remove the panel and test the mechanism

how are you going to take the panel off if the trunk won't open?

 

Turn the key all the way clockwise.

While turning, the first position unlocks the doors. If you keep turning past this, it opens the trunk.

Part #: 74840-ST7-A01 is the trunk actuator assembly, and is probably in need of replacement. Mine is on my 2000 GSR.

 

just hold the key clockwise and pull open the trunk, if that doesnt work you need to keep holding the key clockwise and move the lever sideways and pull open the trunk.

 

when i first got my gsr, i thought there was a problem with my trunk also.

then i figured out that i must just really suck at unlocking things. havent had a problem with it since i learned to outsmart the lock
