Default Big guy wanting a s2000

i'm in the market fora s2000 i'm a bigger dude 6'2 bout 265. I was just wondering how small the inside of the car was. I own a 92 prelude both cars have a center dividing console so i figured that both cars were around the same size inside. Is this correct or not?

The first thing one notices after closing the the door while inside the S2k is how prominent the center console is.

too big, over suggested optimal weight limit. seriously, we have a thread for it... headroom and all.. go sit in one if you really think you're too big.

110 pounds and a few more inches doesn't make a difference at all.

McD's makes me lose weight ironically, because about an hour after i eat it im sick with diarrhea. i can't honestly say thats a bad thing since i love McD's but i try to limit myself because I know that artificial crap will eventually be my demise. (a fist-sized tumor in my *** = GG)

You on the big side for the S2000. I really suggest you go to the dealer and just sit in one, for starts.

I'm 6'3" 170, I felt i was a bit tall for the car, I have since bought a BYS seat lowing rail and it lowered me about an inch.

to each his own. i'm two inches taller than you and significantly heavier and feel just fine in an s2k. it's a different fit than the typical honda, as you are seemingly lower in the car vs. the console, etc (like sitting in a 'vette or miata), but it's not so much that it's smaller. the problems are 1. my main mode of transportation for the past 12 years has been a small car in some capacity and 2. i've pretty athletic, so my flexibility is good. getting in and out of these cars doesnt seem to bother me but others with similar specs....it can.

all this means i might not be the best gauge. also, proportions can play into this stuff; i'm pretty balanced in terms of legs vs. torso; if you are skewed one way or the other, it can make for a totally different experience in the same car.

relative specifically to the s2k, there is a guy i know personally on the mazda forums (lazerbluep5 aka glen) who had an s2k as a weekend car for quite some time; he was about your size, maybe a little heavier and loved the car.

i def echo the suggestion to go sit in one.

it will be a tight fit. I am 6,2 195lbs. I got use to it after a couple days. It sucks when your ***** itch or you just need to reset urself. Besides that I really like s2's they feel like a go cart.

im 5'8 195. i have wide shoulders and thick thighs. i feel like im on match.com. anyways i fit better in a miata than a S2k. for me S2K feels cramp, not much elbow room and my legs are kinda squished. one of the big reason im going with a miata, eventually.
