If I drive hard (Not necessarily hard, but accelerate quickly) my idle will be at around 2k-2.1k. Once I turn off my car and turn it back on the problem goes away.

What could be the problems? My idle valve?

Any help would be appreciated.

well if you accelerate your car won't be idling. your car only idles when the gas pedal is all the way up. To get an accurate idle reading, shut off radio, a/c, lights, anything that draws current and watch the needle!
