Default performance chips??? help please

has anyone had any experiences with performance chips? looking to get one and i was woundering if anyone had any info on them and what kind to use

like performance ships from ebay? they're crap. get something like hondata, neptune, ectune, chrome, if yur car is stock then dont get them anyways, unless yur boosted and got all the bolt ons

As Batallic said, for a relatively stock car, a "performance chip" won't do a thing.

If you have significant modifications (like turbo, nitrous, built internals, etc.) then it would be wise to tune the ECU properly.

What's the most popular chip ? I've heard much about HONDATA. Any clues why ? Quality, performance, all of these ?

hondata rocks! they are a very well known brand and their chips and other items are some what "top of the line"

Solid, I'll go a little deeper into this. I'll try to come up with some harder stuff as to why they're better.

i just recently swapped my d16 for a b18c1 with a skunk2 manifold, dc headers, SRI, CTR intake cam and ran on a stock OBD1 P72. My car ran like Sh*t but i'm supposed to get my chipped ecu (by phearable.net) on monday! i'll keep you guys updated!

I have a skunk2 chipped and tuned p72 ECU, it kicks ***, everybody wants mine or wants to put it in their car for a day to f___ around with.
