Default 2001 Accord overheating

My 2001 accord is continuously overheating. I have replaced the thermostat multiple times. After that stopped temporarily fixing the problem, I have replaced the water pump, timing belt, and head gasket. I've had a mechanic friend work on it, and he can't find anything else wrong with it to cause the overheating. I'm tired of paying $60/hr to have it looked at by the local dealer with continued little "improvements" without a permanent solution. Please help.

What's the timing belt and head gasket going to resolve?

Anyway, have you checked that the fan to your right is on (when standing in front of the hood) when the engine temperature goes over 40% the gauge on the dashboard?

Better yet, does the fan to your left turn on when you have the AC turned on?

It could just be a mechanical problem with the fans, themselves. That was my issue.

If you had work done to the radiator and used 100% antifreeze it could cause it to overheat, ur suppose to use 50/50. Just a thought, i made this mistake with my CRX awhile back and that caused the car to overheat.
