car wont shift into lockup???
so i started a thread a while back but still havent figured out the problem. i have a 96 accord lx and i swapped in a jdm f22b engine and tranny out of an odyssey. the engine was originally obd1 and i converted it to obd2. im using the original usdm ecu.
im not sure if its shifting into lock up. at 75 mph the rpms are rite about at 3300. is this what its supposed to be for a jdm odyssey? if not how do i go about troubleshooting it? im thinking that maybe its because im using a usdm ecu for an accord with a jdm odyssey transmission.
another question: i talked to a transmission shop and they said that in order to shift into overdrive/lockup the ecu must get signals from multiple different sensors. if it isnt getting a signal from even one of all these different sensors then it wont shift into lockup. is this true? if so what are the signals/sensor that contribute to shifting into lockup?
any troubleshooting advice would be greatly appreciated.
