Idle Problems
I did a auto to manual conversion and dropped in a new built D16. Its a vitara setup.
Either way I am still running the stock ECU until I go on boost. I have all 4 plugs from my wire harness plugged into the ECU and i have CEL (Right & Left Auto Transaxle, Tranmission Com Failure, Knock Sensor). The knock sensor is on because my friends broke it when they dropped the motor in.
I have the same IM/TB as before with the auto IACV (doesnt matter atm). But my car idles like a retard. Every time I turn it on it seems to idle at a different place. Sometimes it idles around 2k other times around 3k. But it can idle as low as like 300.
Sometimes when I am driving and I push the clutch so I can either coast or put it in neutral, the car will idle high (2500-3000) until I come to a complete stop. Then the RPM's will drop to like somewhere between 500 and 2000 (depends on what it feels like doing).
Has anyone else experienced problems like this? will they all go away when I run the chipped P28 with the conversion harness? Because this is some random ****.

i did that. I adjusted it all the way closed, and the idle just dropped. I had to open it back up a little bit because depending on the idle that the car picks when I turn it on, sometimes it was too low (like 300). So i adjusted it back a little bit. So if it happens to pick correct idle its @ like 700
