I have a 95 ex accord and I was thinking about getting gunmetal wheel paint from autozone and painting my wheels gunmetal.

Anyone ever tried this or have a pic of what it would look like

my 2dr is gold, how would gunmetal 15's look on a gold 2dr accord?

they would look good.

some people take off the tire but most just tape the tire off... ive never seen the gun metal ex rims on gold, only white, black, dark green.

your going to paint your alloys.. .. i know its a bit more but the guy here in FL.. powercoats rims for 75 bucks.. look around your town for someone. it would look better and last longer. IMO

did it myself, $8... $4 for graphite paint and $4 for clear coat

That would be my car. I just primered, painted and clear coated my rims.

hey vsmex99, i have a gold 4dr accord w/ 17 gunmetal customed rims....i currently havent signed up for that site to post pics, but i will soon...i have a link to my car though...well first off i'll tell u how i did it, i washed them down good, then dried it. sanded them down with 400 grit sand paper, then with 600 grit for a smoother touch, got like 3 bottles of 'smoke' colored paint, sprayed it layer by layer, if u mess up, let that spot dry and sand it down..then respray (nothing big), then clear coated it a few times.....so a total of 7 or more coats (at least this many layers)...the pic of my car only has the back rims on b/c i was in the process of gettin my front ones painted (btw the process is slow, but its worth it) http://www.drag757.com/forums/showth...&threadid=2468
