Icon3 idle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok i have a 94 accord stock and when im driving down the road it is fine and when im at a stop light it idles at 650 -750 but when i go to park it the car idles a 1100-1200 any advice would help i have ho vaccum leaks iacv is clean new filters thanx

i had the same thing on my car if i not wrong its iac value something like that its on the back of your monifold on the fire wall

Just make sure everything is tight and all the connections in the vacuum system are good. That includes the hose from the airbox to the throttle.

Is the IAC valve clean? Try resetting your idle speed, maybe the last time it was done it wasn't done correctly; make sure the computer knows you reset it.

well, I can tell you how you how to do it on my engine (92 accord lx) but I don't know how much that would help you. You need to get yourself a repair manual, like a Haynes. It's a very easy procedure that requires only a flat head screwdriver and 10 minutes of your time.

... but then again that may not solve your problem. Someone more knowledgeable should chime in...

You say it idles lower when you park - how is being stopped at a light different from parking? Is it an automatic transmission?

1) Do the IACV/FITV cleaning thread you tighten up some stuff, etc it should help
2) Play with the idle adjustment **** on the tb, your idle should be ~700-800rpm at rest
