i brought a 92 gsr from a friend 4 months ago as a daily driver. it has ebay coilover on stock shocks. i have no plans for the car but just to drive it. no drag, auto x, or show. i was wondering what shocks can i use with the coilovers.

You're going to need a good quality damper to handle those stiff coilover spring rates. I'd say you'll need Tokico Illuminas as a minimum if you don't want them to blow out in a short time.

Dont do it. Illuminas only like higher rate springs on the 4th and 5th dampening setting, which is pretty damn stiff for DD. I would recommend getting some good coilover springs with a lower spring rate or ditching the whole coilover idea and getting some good lowering springs

i took some time to think about it, since im very unsure about these ebay coilovers. im thinking about a good coilover setup or just lowering spring. now with lowering springs i want a good drop like almost a 3in drop. does anyone has a DA/DB interga with a 2.5 to a 3in drop, if so can u post pics...
