Finally it has arrived (with pics)
As I heard about the Mugen Intake and I have always wanted one. I did browse through most of the older post for opinions and comments about them. So I have decided to buy one for myself. The intake arrived yesterday and spent around 1.5 hours to get the installation done. I have a 96spec JDM DC2R with non-ABS and is RHD so I don't need to go through the hassles of ABS brake, air condition lines and limited space of fitting. All I need to do was:
1) Jack up the car
2) Remove the original stock air filter box
3) Drain the coolant from the radiator
4) Remove the driver's fan (RHD, the bigger fan) and the upper radiator hose in order to get the fan out of the way
5) Once that is done, the intake just basically drop into it and bolt nicely (such a beautiful piece with perfect measurements)
6) Finally, connect the original intake arm with the Mugen intake
7) Install the fan back, connect the hose and fill the radiator with coolant and that's about it
Here are some pictures that I have took during the installation. Any input or comment will be nice. Thanks :D Note: I have 98spec HID installed in the car as well.

Haven't took the car out for a ride yet as it was already dark when I finished the job. Will give it a good shot today

That is IMO the single best mod I have ever done to my caR.
Did your's also come with a splash shield? Its the metal shield looking thing.

Thanks a lot guys for the comment, really appreciated it.
You shouldn't be pissed because we both live in different country, haha. But nice plate though, I love mine
Actually no, I didn't get the metal shield. What does that do? Just to prevent water spilling from the ground into the snorkel?
I live in New Zealand... got them from NZHONDAS
I got the snorkel pointed towards to the Js airduct. It doesn't fit directly in front of it but close enough. But I think it will definitely help with the air flow.
I paid $600, it is a huge amount but I think it is worth the investment into the car :D I love it so much.
Again, thanks guy for all the comments. Cheers.

Hi guys, I've decided to sell this Mugen Intake as I'm trying to get into RC and I need some cash. So if anyone wants to trade his RC cars please let me know and we can work something out. If not, I will list this on ebay (if anyone wants to verify me to insure the safety of this transaction please let me know as I have an account on ebay with over 100+ transaction and maintain 100% for both buyer and seller). I'm sad to let this beautiful intake go as I'm planning to put my ITR back into stock :D Please feel free to PM me, cheers.
Item is now listed on ebay. Let me know if you guys are interested in buying this MUGEN!
