Looking for some seats
I'm looking to buy some racing seats with 3 or 4 point harness. I can't afford super expensive seats. Anyone can suggest some seats in the 600 hundred dollars range (for 2 seats) if theres any at all. Thanks.

tube frame seats - It is the opinion of many is that these are not a good choice for w2w racing. OK for autocross

I got a Forza and I'm not real impressed with it. (I saw it without the cover...yikes)
I personally will look at the Kirkey as a future replacement to mine. I like the Idea of aluminum as seat material as opposed to fiberglass....

i think all he wants is a comfortable seat to hold him in with use of a temporary harness for parking lot autox. i think seats like corbeau are a suitable choice. $600 can buy a frickin nice seat tho[oops, you want two, why would you want two?]. my momo start seat (fiber glass) is pretty comfortable quite frankly, just not comfortable getting in and out, altho im used to it and figured out. which is something to consider when buying a seat for non dedicated competition use, make sure its easy to get in and out of, the seats with deep buckets make it harder.
a 3 pt harness will be fine, as long as you dont expect it to protect you in an accident, head on collision or rollover. certainly not suitable for open track events. but thats a big risk you take if you do rely on it with any remote chance of such, i dont think the chances are remote in a parking lot however, in agreement with other ppls opinions in the other thread.

correct me if I'm wrong, but a typical lap and shoulder belt is consider a "3 point"...
Anyways, you may want to look into Sabelt seats. They are nice and reasonably priced, plus they are FIA homogolated.

3 point harness refers to the shoulder straps stitched together to the same anchor strap, with 2 lap straps. some retailers wont even sell em because they are so unadequate in providing any crash protection.

Why not check out some Del sol seats? You can use your rails on your seat now and have them for under $300. Great lateral support for stock seats and they are a bit lighter. Just a thought. I love mine.

I have two Corbeau Carrera's that I don't need anymore (going with kirkey road racing aluminum seats). I'd be willing to sell them for $600 with brackets for 90-93 Integra included.
Here's a link to what they look like:

my use for the seating would be daily driven, so I need reclinable, and for lot auto-x. Now in the future I wanna be on a real track racing with this, if there is such event, will I need differnt seats? I just want some affordable seats that will keep my in my seat when auto-x
im looking at Corbeau seats. But there cheapest ones come to 600+200 for rails + 200 for harness. Its not bad, but I was hoping lower

The Carrera's are reclinable...they worked really nice when I used them for autocrossing, a lot more supportive than the stock seats and a little more comfortable when spending longer in the car. All they have been doing for a while is taking up space in the garage and collecting dust...I really have no use for them in a full blown racecar.
