Default Neep opinions on led selection blue gauges

First off which size do i need for my 92 ex gauge and climate controls? I read some people say you need 5 #24 bulbs and 3 #74 then other say i need five #24 and 3 #194.I cant even find #24 led's anywhere. I just wnat some nice blue gauges not something too bright or too dim. Next which would be the best some side firing like these http://superlumination.com/images/au..._smt2_b_wm.jpg

Or should i get straight singles like these http://superlumination.com/images/au..._cool_b_wm.jpg

How did you do it? Did you just put the stripes on top of the gauges or did you wrap them around each gauge? I seen a pic and it did look good just seemed a little more complicated then swapping bulbs

The most efficient way to do it is to wrap the LED strip inside whatever you are illuminating, LEDs facing inward. That way you don't get any hotspots and the light reflects very well for full color.
