Exactly.

It also doesn't help that most of H-T is from north america so the vast majority of us have no idea what an LSi or ESi corresponds to over here.

So it took you a total of two hours with not getting a reply to turn into a little b!tch? Youll get far with that type of behavior, mate.
To answer your question no how would you retain your parking brake?

alot of us get frustrated. and we don't go around swearing and calling people names. maybe you could see if the calipers fit and then you could post a reply letting us know the answer...

Its been done before, but mostly on trucks, where most guys don't care about not having a parking brake. However on a street driven car where there are safety inspections, thats a whole other story.

Do you **** your mother with that mouth? seriously!

The mechanical issue is getting the large vented discs & calipers mounted correctly. You'll need a custom mount made, in addition to the other issue brought up - no provisions for e-brake.

The REAL issue is how the rear of your Civic accounts for less than 20% of your braking force. Put the same brakes on there, even with a proportioning valve, and you'll lock up the rear with the slightest tap. Any experienced driver will tell you have dangerous and uncontrollable that makes a car. Even with ABS, the ABS system will go bonkers.

As far as swapping a rear Civic brake caliper to another Civic, the 88-00 Civics and 00-01 Integras (besides ITR, maybe CTR too) use the exact same rear brake setup. At least the same for your purpose.
