Car falls on its face in 1st gear!!!
Ok so my car just recently started acting weird. Whenever I go to start off in first at a steady throttle it just falls flat on its face and jerks real hard. Also when im driving and I just barely touch the gas it just kinda jumps for a sec...also just kinda drops off for a second when i completely let out of the gas. It only does it for just that one moment when i touch the gas or let out. but when im steady throttle it drives fine. plugs are good but im leaning on it may be something to do with the distributer or fuel filter??? any suggestions?
well we put a tps sensor from my buddies car on it and it still does it. would it have something to do with clocking it right?

i had a similar probelm when i used to have my accord. It turned out there was a BB size hole in my dizzy cap. I went though a bunch of different things before i found out that was the problem. Take it off and inspect with light behind it. You never know, the smallest crack could be doing it.
blahhh... << umm>> i have a similar problem but not quite exactly the same.. i just treat it as a temper tantrum. every sooo often my car will jerk when the rpms say top at depending how far my foot is on the pedal. say for instance i am cruzing out my driveway in first gear at 10mph. (keep in mind this could be any gear at any speed) the verymoment that i hit 10 mph and no further the car seems to cut fuel and when i press my foot back on the gas it jerks again. if this makes any sense at all to anyone. who knows. hondas have their little problems that could be 1 of a million different things. this happens every so often maybe once a week. i have NOOO clue about my nor your situation sorry for taking up space. heheee.

When your in first gear you can feel what your engine is doing the most becasue the gears are close and if the engine misfires once you will feel it. This could eather be a jerk or a bog, also ever notice when ur in first and you let off the gas sometimes your enging will rock your car a little bit, well thats the same. Its just becasue the engine doesnt fire on every stroke of the piston and becasue we have a 4 cylinders you can feel it more readilly than lets say a 6 or an 8 cylinder which fire more times per revolution. I wouldnt worry about it too much if its not too bad.
