Kelly Blue Book shows a private party price of $6,970 for excellent condition. http://www.kbb.com/KBB/UsedCars/Pric...uizConditions=

If all is in good condition, then I'd say it's a decent price for all the extra goodies you'll get. I'd DEMAND to drive it a bit before laying out the cash though.

My $.02

That's not a bad price at all, if you want a supercharged ride. If you're looking for something a little less modified or not at all, you should expect to spend about 6-10k, depending on age/quality.

Wow! That is quite a bit. I dont like buying modified cars, because you cant tell how much abuse the car got before. Just my $.02

i'd offer him 7k cuz im a dooshbag. but then again, prelude's can be had for 6-7k in good running condition now.. and superchargers aren't really all that expensive. if this is your vision of a modded prelude then go for it and try to get it as cheap as you can.

That S2000 seems like a much much better buy. When I buy a car, I think about what it is worth to the insurance company as well, because if you were to get in an accident, unless you specifically told them all the modifications and they increased your premium to reflect the cost, you will not get back the money. I love S2000s way more than Preludes, its an entirely different category though.
