where can i find a silencer for the muffler tip of the Evo 2??? can someone recommend me a site or a brand to look at? I think i could purchase any universal silencer as long as it fits. Im guessing i buy the size thats exactly the same size as my current muffler tip correct? Need it quick cuz ive been getting too many summons tickets for my muffler!! such a bitch!! Need help ASAP!! Thx!

go to skunk 2 or even e bay any 4 inch silencer will work for you. i had the same problem bro i know how it feels.

 

i dont know what size to get as for the silencer but my muffler tip is 115mm in diameter. And im wondering if the HKS universal silencers would fit mine??

 

an evo2 exhaust being too loud?...i have one and its definitely not loud at all...

 

most laws it at the opinion of the officer that pulls you over, here in washington we have a law and its pretty vauge and its any moddified exhuast that makes the noise louder, i never knew about it till i got pulled over, i had mine installed before the law but i got grandfathered in, so i went on ebay and bought a silencer for my magnaflow and i havent gotten pulled over since, but i got mine off ebay for 12 bucks and it fit fine here good luck

 

my evo2 doent really sound loud too...got pulled over one day too...lol......weird

 

AdRoz, which silencer did you end up using? I have the same problem with tickets with my evo 2. I'd rather not drill a hole in the tip though, any other way to install it? maybe a ring clamp or something.
