Thought id share my latest.....

This is for the R32 VW....from what ive seen these are very stout powerplants. My manifold will hold a gt3582r HTA....car should be HELLA fast!

Collector was a challenge ill say that much but results were great.

Manifold done!

I actually failed on my 1st attempt at making this collector but thank god I was able to get it right the 2nd time and have detailed notes now.....thx

did you back weld the inside and diegrind or did it penetrate 100% and die grind (port)?
looks awsome.

Looks good mate. The 6 cyl. v band collectors are always fun. I've done some for the 12v's.

Nice! You really don't need to do much to Rs to get them looking good.

Nice collection of bumpers in the background too.

how do you keep the V band flange from warping when you weld it? do you only weld a small portion at a time allowing it to cool in between?

To answer the ?'s....Yes the collector gets backpurged and I penetrate through it...where it doesnt penetrate, I fuse, then port. The vband never warps cuz I clamp it to a spare ss housing to keep that from happening....Thx a lot guys! The car is coming to the shop this Sunday to start the fixture! Waiting on machinist for the BALLIN headflange.....I cant wait ive never been this excited to fab b4 lol

The finishing work on the inside of that collector is insane. How long would you say it took for just the inside?

Thank you...car is coming tomorrow! It took me about an hr to do the collector porting. Well worth it IMO! I love making every piece of the manifold as nice as I possibly can. Im sure there are a lot of ppl that say its a waste of time etc but from what ive seen by taking manifolds I make off cars....take some acetone and wipe the inside real quick and its right back to BLING! Thx again
