FOR SALE! JDM B16A and or Y21 Transmission
Tryig to sell my JDM B16A block. No longer have the car for it so this needs to go! Its been bored and honed by Action Auto Parts in Seattle. That includes micropolishing the crank, replacing all the bearings and the final assembly (assembly was to exact OEM specifications). Also included are brand new OEM Pistons/P30 (13010-P30-G00) and OEM rings (13011-PR3-003/04. I used the same rods but like I said, "the Bearings have been replaced". Speaking of, they are ACL bearings and were assembled to OEM specifications. The crankshaft is the original and it too, was micropolished and assembled to exact OEM specifications. I replaced the oil pan gasket and have the original oil pan with new nuts and bolts. Crankshaft pulley, bolt & key are assembled. The block has been decked/surfaced. The cylinders were bored/honed to .025 over. Basically, this block is ready to rock!!
I HAVE PAPERWORK!! I HAVE PAPERWORK!! I HAVE PAPERWORK!!
The reason why I capitalized "I HAVE PAPERWORK" is because I heard how frustrating it can be with other people's work, especially if they have zero experience and/or not ASE Honda Technicians. I work for Klein Honda in Everett and I didn't even ask them to do any machining on this block. I still consider this transaction to be "at your own risk".
I have the transmission to go with this block. Its a Y21 tranny and it too, has been reconditioned. However, this was recondition by Josh Lean in our Service Department, Klein Honda in Everett. He is a 10 year veteran and is the only ASE Honda Technician who our Service manager or Advisor's would recommend a tranny job to. It is equipped with a new clutch kit(Exedy) and a resurfaced flywheel that is OEM. All, every single bearing was changed for new OEM bearings. The final drive is original but the synchro sleeves for the Counter shaft have been replaced since the tranny was apart already. Josh threw those in there for free so I consider that a treat to the buyer of this set-up. This tranny is assembled on the block already and I will set either together or seperate.
Here is what I am asking for both: $500 picked up
Here is what I am asking for the Transmission (y21): $150 picked up
Here is what I am asking for the Long Block (JDM B16A): $450 picked up
If you have any questions, feel free to ask away. Here are my contact numbers:
