How much do y'all worry bout theft? Not just like theft of the whole car but like someone breaking in and stealing just parts. I have recently invested 300 dollars on an alarm and window tint combo... do most of y'all rock alarms here?

The best alarm is INSURANCE.

 

Every single day , every single time its not within the range of my glock...

 

What....yes my insurance agent is gonna sit out front let me know when someone is trying to get in to my car...."Pat wake up someone is breaking in to your car" I do believe a alarm will work in that situation beeep beep beep eeeenk eeenk...yes Insurance is good in the LONG run when it's already gone and chopped up. But to avoid maybe even dealing w/ them, a alarm/whatever other security you might have like a kill switch yadda yadda. SO to answer right now I have alarm and the CLUB that goes on your pedals.

I bought an alarm....it goes off if you fart next to the car...my last teg was keyed. I expect this one to get keyed as well...

dunno what to say...there are some messed up people out there.

keep depending on your insurance and watch your premium sky rocket

 

Every single day,even if my eyes are nodding out I will get out of bed and lock my gates,put dual quad clubs on,2 autolocks,and multilcok for the shifter and a couple other goodies.Even if I run into the store for a pack of smokes my **** gets locked up.

 

I worry about theft A LOT and I have reason to... my leather GSR seats have been the victim of smash and grabbers and car theives more than once... my original leathers were taken (along w/ there stereo) then I replaced them w/ 98+ leathers w/ the nice additional ***** and adjustment.. those got taken when the car was stolen.. and I just put in another set of 98+'s....

when I'm home I'm not that concerned because its garaged, our house has an alarm, they'd have to break the locks on the garage, then defeat the house alarm, the cars alarm, several kill switches, ,hood lock, batt back up, internal sirens, auto lock, and club and it'll also page me if the alarm goes off... so at home I feel its pretty safe... but its when I'm out/parked in public streets or parking garages or at work I get very worried.. I spend around $1,000 in security and I had hook upz on the parts and installation.... I still worry about it daily

Car is garaged at home. I always have at least 1 loaded gun and spare mag on my body. Other loaded guns in the house.

When at work it's at a parking garage, 6th floor. You have to get into HP's campus (security gates) to get to my car.

I'm not worried about people stealing my car at the shooting range or in front of the gun store or gas station.

 

hey Jesse my friend lives in sugarland also.. she had things stolen off her adriatic blue 4 door a few times then again its parked outside on the street...

 

Yeah. Unfortunately, people who live in nice neighborhoods think they're safe. I sure don't.

If I were a car thief, I'd hit the nice areas, not the run down ones. I just had a buddy get his car stolen from his driveway in SL.

 

well the reason why her teg is out on the street is because they own luxury cars which cost a few times more than the teg.. so it gets parked out on the street because its worth about 3-5X less.. I'm just telling you to look out/giving you a heads up when your home too because theres thieves in the area taking stuff..

 

i second that. im gonna need some fricken binoculars so i can get license plates as they speed away when i look outside and catch fools passin by my car late at night.
