Civic Front end Pushed in? How do you replace?
im planning on buying a front core support on ebay and replacing the beat up core support.
is there any write ups on how to do this i have searched but have no luck. I Cant seem to find the welds and were to knock off the original.

the weld spots are easy to located... they are just little small circle that has been covered but you can tell its there... dont really know how to explain it any better, but what i do is just drill them out and the front radiator support should come right out...
its not all that hard. with the front end off, go along the core support with a sharpie and mark all the spot welds so you dont miss any. then take rotozip drill bit or a regular drill bit will work and drill the welds out. be sure not to go all the way through it though. just the surface. then when you have all the welds drilled out take a hammer and a pry bar or chizzle and carefully pull/pry/chizzle till its completly removed. if you have drilled all the spot welds out completely, it will come off with little effort
Good info I needed this also! If you have pix i would suggest the Mod to make this into a sticky... Alot of people ask about this and i havent found one on H-T yet.

i cant find the pic of the close up on the holes and new welds.. my cousin did all the body work on my coupe.. just a few pics that i could find
