Default H22a EG Hatch or B18c EK hatch

Hey guys, im a newb to this forum. i need a opinion on what car i should buy. there is a 1995 H22a EG with h23 tranny, the car is cheap but it will need a paint job. Next is a B18c EK the car is very clean and needs nothing but is much more expensive but would save me work. Im gonna use it as a weekend car/ 1/4 mile car. no auto-x. i want a fast car but reliable car. H22 has 50k miles on it and b18c has 38k. Thanks in advance for opinions!

Hands down the h22 EG. That will walk B series all day. Get an adapter plate and a B series tranny and you'll run 12s all day

i like the gsr but H2B ftw just faster because the eg hatch is a lighter car than the ek with more horsepower under the hood so therefore eg h22 ftw

eg ftw. not big on the 22 but if it was wired properly go for it. ive jsut seen alot of h22 hack jobs. make sure you get someone who knows something about the swap to look at it. you might be buying a 2 faced btch thatll cause you alot of greif if its a hack job
