Stop being so polite. He asked for the opinion of other users.

I mean, being polite is okay, but allowing people to put those wheels on a car is like intentionally spreading aids.

OP-Those wheels are top 5 in my ugliest wheels ever. If I had to see them on my car for 5 minutes, I'd jab my eyes out with rusty nails.

But...it's your car, do what you want.

With those kinds of wheels, it would really depend on what else the car would have.

You can't just slap those on your car and expect it to set off the car. But if you had subtle items/parts on your car that would complement the red, then I think it would look decent.

For example, if you had subtle red badging on your car (for example, just the front and rear emblems) some red colored/anodized wheel lugs and maybe something in your interior that was red (like red stitching on the seats) then I think it could be pulled off really well.

Also your tire size and stance would also help as well. Get the proper looking tire size (sidewall not too tall, not too thin) and have the correct drop, it would look sweet.

for buying wheels that remind me of an emo haircut with red highlights

Don't you think your question would be better answered in the cosmetic and appearance forum or the wheel and tire forum?

Sick wheels, but they'd be lost on someone who shops for wheels from their local tire shop.

Yea...that was a cute little rant.

I'm not saying he needs anyone's permission. But, if he comes in and directly asks for the opinion of others, don't feed him that PG BS.

Originally, you didn't even answer his question. LOL. You just said "get what you want not what others think. You gonna get a page of "they look good" and "that ***** rice". Its all up to you, you have to look at your car everyday".

That's true, but he did ask for opinion. By the time people are in here, they are over 16 years old and should be able to handle some criticism, especially when they ask for it.

ha well they have that same style rim but instead of the whole spoke red it is mostly black with only a little red on the outline like a pinstripe, and the lip is polished to almost chrome. heres a link http://xxrwheels.com/sportmax_507_W.shtml#
