Here we go , Ive been wanting to do a detail on this thing forever but didnt even know where to begin . After some extensive research i took the plunge and ordered the supplies. I started at 7am , didnt finish up till 6pm , and had to rush cause I cant have my car in the garage when my a**hole stepfather gets home. I didnt get a FULL correction but id say i got about 85% of defects out , which leaves me very happy for my first detail.
Products:
PC7424 w/ Assorted Orange/White/Gray LC CCS pads
Menzerna IP
Menzerna P085RD
Mothers Showtime + Claybar
Collonite 476s(stuff is amazing)
Stoner INvisible Glass
Black WOW
Cobra Indigo and SuperPlush MF's
Also i was running into some problems with my polishing , It was drying up extremely fast and dusting like crazy (menzerna IP) I was using a 4" and 5.5" Orange CCS pad, I tried with White as well , didnt make a difference , I tried using less product ,still no difference. I tried with both the garage door open and closed with A/C , still giving me the same problem , So i eventually just spritzed the panels with some Mothers Showtime to allow me to work the product longer. Enough babbling , onto some pics .
Before pics were takin with my SLR , couldnt do the afters cause my camera was at my girls house and it had B&W Film. SO the afters arent close-ups and was with a ****** Digital.
Before :

Some of the afters

Im very pleased considering this is my first detail , But ill tell you , I cant believe how difficult it actually was , took forever , didnt even get to do my interior , and by the end of the day my back was KILLING me , and i felt like my knees were gonna give out on me lol , I gotta give super duper props to all the pros out there who do this for a living

So i got a chance to look at it in direct sunlight and i can see a little bit of hologramming or buffer trails... Anyone know why the IP was drying up so fast? , I would put it on the pad , rub some on the paint , use speed 2 to just spread the polish , and as soon as i start working it in , it would disappear and start to basically buff OFF ... I had to constantly spritz the panels with QD to give me more time. I think this is part of the reason i have some hologramming along with some user error of course
Try prepping the pad itself with a little QD before you start and work in small areas about 1 foot by 1 foot. Not bad for your first time though, that's for sure.
