Modifying stock seats
I just bought a 1992 civic si hatch. I love it. The engine looks almost new and it runs great. I plan I putting a b16a into it in the future.
One problem though: I am a little too tall for it. I need the seat to move back just another inch and I'd fit better. Is it possible to modify the stock seats to accomplish this? I really don't want to replace them either (not just yet anyway).
Any suggestions?

i'm 6'4" and could barely fit in my 91 civic hatch. i had to get a small diameter steering wheel so my legs would fit better. i started getting backaches from trying to drive with the stock wheel because it didn't allow my legs any lateral movement underneath it. i fit much better in my ej.
wow ure tall
not really, I'm 6'2'', I just have long legs.

DelSol seats would put you a bit lower but I don't think they move back any further thamn the oem Civic seats you have now. Hmmmm
I'm not positive on this one but can the seat rails be modified and remounted to the seats a bit further back? Has anyone done this?
I'm guessing (cause I have not looked under my seats in a long time) that the bolting locations between the seats and rail can be relocated.
