Hi, I got this turbo, it's in good condition, spins very freely. I just want to try and find what turbo it is so I can know what numbers I can expect when I put it on my b18b. I'm looking to push around 12-14 psi (trying to get ~250whp for street use). I was told it was a t28, but it looks more like a GT series turbo... The compressor is a/r .80, the turbine is a t25 flange with a/r .64. Here are some pics... (attachments)


Also my turbo manifold is a t3 flange and this turbo is a t25, I have another garrett t3 .48 exhaust housing not being used, are they interchangeable? Thanks.

 

Housings removed, then measure wheels please.

If that's a .80 cover, its probably a T2 cover if I'm not mistaken. I almost got a straight T2 for a D15 beater - it had a similar cover, but large AR's on the housings. The only way to be sure is to measure the big & small diameters of BOTH wheels, to within 1/32 of an inch if possible.

 

dont put a t25 on a B..I will agree.
