I was just told that my D15B is a VTEC and this is the first I have heard that it is...is this true or false, because i have been looking to find a vtec swap thinking mine was a non vtec...

are you talking the american d15b7 or the jdm d15b? the d15b7 was a non vtech motor and the d15b was a vtech.

No the D15B are vtec motors, only reason i didn't know it wasn't vtec is because the person i bought the motor from swapped the vtec head to a non vtec, but the block says d15b, all determines if it's MPFI or DPFI

there are both vtec and non-vtec jdm d15b's.

http://www.jdmenginescorp.com/engine...99-engine-only

that engine list also lacks to include the vtec or non-vtec version of the jdm d16a. vtec version is equivalent to the usdm d16z6, but with 9.4:1 compression, instead of 9.2:1 like the z6.

rioja bring the d16z6 honda civic coupe 1996-1995 Honda Civic or even the sun, but if I equiboco, brings the civic coupe or a reprogrammable ecu civic sun too? Correct me if equibocar....
but I keep the D15b, reprogrammed ECU, it would be a driver exhaust manifold VTEC + ... is fast is the best way to enhance a SOHC VTEC motor that spending less money and with a swap would be more power than a standard D16z6 ..
