Koni Sport Shocks Denied Under Warranty!
Just received an email from Koni NA that my shocks that I sent them was denied for warranty because the tech that tested them did not find any leaks when he put them in the dyno.
When I spoke to the rep. I explain it to him that the shocks were leaking oil when you adjust them. And now he is asking me if I should want the shocks back or scraped it there.
Koni sent me a replacement but they have to charge my CC first now that they could not find nothing they are denying the warranty and would not credit my CC. I do not want 2 set or rear shocks what will I do the other one.
Can I fight this thru my credit card and tell them that the product in the first place was defective?

dang man. I assume you have spoken with someone at Koni NA directly?
I would tell you to contact Lee Grimes (CRX Lee) with Koni NA, as he used to frequent H-T, but he hasn't been on since before the vB switch, unfortunately.

That is pretty shatty man, i got a pair of old Koni yellows and I thought there was a lifetime warranty on their products!
I had a similar problem with a front set. Oil would leak from the adjuster if you put any side load on it. If you didn't touch it , it wouldn't leak.
Sent mine in an they accepted my claim.
Make sure you describe clearly the mode of failure. The replacements are still cheaper than retail.
Good luck.
