Starting problem with newly purchased eg2 crx
Hey, just bought me a low km crx (92 b16a del sol), still looks like its in real good nick. Its my first crx so my knowledge is limited on them but i know most honda's off by heart. Any how i took off one of the plug leads last night once i got the car home, for security, but forgot to put it back on the next morning. The car started fine then the idle became rough and then it died. Then I realized i had the plug off and placed it back on and tried to start it again and it cranks but won't start. So I figured I must have blown the internal coil for the 40k volts the dizzy generates had no were to go..... my own stupidity i know.lol. either way checked the cell codes and nothing flashed so i take it all is fine ecu wise. checked fuses and didn't see any in the engine bay that have blown. Were is the internal fuse box on the del sol? Any help will be great but at this point im looking at replacing the internal coil.
Thanks
Thanks
Check to see if, yolu are getting any spark from your sparlk plug wires. You will need someone to crank the car. While you take one spark plug wire off the engine and put a screw driver near the tip of it. To see if you get any spark. Remember not to get in contact with the spark. Use a screw driver with a rubber handle. If you don't have any spark you have to replace the ignition coil.
