Good size piping/exhaust?

Default Good size piping/exhaust?

So im getting type r 98 spec headers with a new catalytic converter. with it being a 2.5 inch collector, should i get a 2.5 cat back exhaust? people tell me no get something smaller for a little back pressure and some say its fine?

If it is a type r motor than 2.5" will be fine... You won't lose a noticeable amount on the low end...

common sense tells me that if it comes with a jdm collector which is 2.5 then you should go with a 2.5 in exhaust lol

2.5 would be best youll be fine with it
any thing smaller the would be stupid

i would say between 2.25 and 2.5, nothing bigger or smaller

dude back pressure is baddd for your car.. Look it up... But i would keep it too 2.5 exhaust man especially if thats what your collector is man

If the header has a 2.5" collector than going from 2.25" to 2.5" will make no performance difference at all...

2.5 is perfect for most B series vtec engines that you plain to mod, if you already have a 2.25 on there just leave it and get a jdm test pipe 2.5->2.25 as i did
