Please help me pick proper sized slick!
Hey guy's the race season is only a few months away and I think I should be looking for a new set of slicks. Here is a run down of my setup,
1995 civic coupe
Turbo B-series
360whp 260wtq
Stock axles
gsr transmission w/quaife
Best ET of 11.63@122
3-4 year old MH 23x8x13 slicks
I'm looking to make 400+ whp this season and looking to run 10's. I already have a set of used 24.5x9x13 MT but I’m afraid to run them as they're wide. I liked the way the 23" felt but I don't know if 400+ whp will out power that size of slick?
So my options are...
New 23x8x13 MH
New 24.5x8.5x13 MH
Keep used 24.5x9x13 MT
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I dont know what you are revving it to but im going to say im pretty sure youll run out of gear with the 23's unless you are taking it to like 10k
.... im around the same power level as you right now and have 24.5x8 slicks and i can cut 1.71's all day long on shitty $100 max speed coilovers... id go with the 24.5x8.5's! or just keep those 24.5x9's and see how they work...you can always buy new ones.
