...or I'm being paranoid. It feels like the clutch is less stiffer on times when I press down on it....whether I'm shifting from 2nd to 3rd or when I'm down shifting to second. I don't feel it going into first. It doesn't appear consistent...just sporadically.

I just had the clutch replaced about 6-8 months ago.


Thoughts?

 

check your clutch fluid...hydro or cable?

 

If it's a 97, then it's hydro. Sounds like fluid issues. Check fluid levels, and leaks at the Master Cylinder and the Slave Cylinder.

How many miles on the new clutch? They usually take a bit of time to fully break in, but usually a week or 2, not 6-8 months.
