Default B18C5 rotating assembly into b16a block

Ok, so basically wondering if this will work? I'm talking cranks, rods and pistons.

Also if it will work, what kind of compression am I looking at? Would stock b16 cams work or would type r cams be needed?

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

wont work. the b18c has a taller block. pistons will stick out about half in or so. What's plan B?

work work. I think b18c rods are still a bit longer than the b16.

do you know of sompeplace where I can find out what the compression ratio would be if i were to use the type r rods and pistons with the stock crank?

heres a link to answer all questions related to your topic
http://www.zealautowerks.com/bseries.html

look at deck height, the page is set to change colour in the background, any setting you chose and get black, blue its too low comp, orange or red and your either pushing the limits of compression or clearences and your deck height is too much, yellow specially green is optimal! but as far as it goes your best bet would be jdm itr pistons, they wont do much though!

yes..

but the b16b is a b18c5 block...

the b16b is a tall block with a short stroke crank and long rods.. in general if you want to fool some people, buy a b16b and then put a gsr crank and rods in it with itr piston or ctr piston and the block will still say b16b lol

but no itr/gsr crank and rods wont fit b16..
