Default Everyone who started with an automatic hatch

I just bought an auto 98 hatch and was wondering who all here started with a car that was auto and eventually swapped everything out for a money 5spd?

I started off with an auto Coupe, converting to 5 speed was a wise choice. Wish I did it sooner lol.

5 speed is an easy swap and definetly worth it especially going B series

my first hatch was auto and then i converted it to 5 spd. all you need is the auto to 5 spd transmission mount made by innovations or innovated .. something like that... cost me about 2 something. pretty pricey .

I started with an auto hatch (92), drove it for 2 years then got a manual hatch (98). A swap shouldn't cost you much, if you do the labor.
