my 91 teg tstat is not fine
that is why I am looking for help on replacing it

I have 3 local honda dealers, no local acura dealers

the question is:

What tstat can I get at a Honda dealer that will work in a B18A1?

well, if they do, I never knew

I just never thought of going into a Honda dealer and asking for a 1991 Acura Integra tstat

I will do so tomorrow.

wow Jimmy, thanks, I have a spare d-block tstat, I dont have a spare grommet though,

you have put a d-tstat into a b-block?

does the b-block use a grommet around the tstat like the d-block?

is the grommet the same as well?

Update:
I learned from an industrious Honda dealer that cross referenced and confirmed by calling an Acura dealer to have them look.

The D-block and B-block use EXACTLY the same tstat.(at least EF = DA tstats)

Though that dealer also quoted a higher price($26) than another Honda dealer here($23).
I thought the dealers wer going to have the same price for oem parts. Isnt that set by Honda Corp, not the local dealer?
