will a 99-00 SI ecu run my 97 DX ek hatch for now....my stock ecu fried and i dont have a spare...the only other ecu i have is the SI one...
if i can use it what are the cons...

well i need it because my car took a ****. and i need to go to work ..i can buy a ecu but i need to wait till the weekend...and i dont want to mess any thing up...but i want to know if it will run for the rest of the week without messing anything up or causing damage

 

i ran my chipped p28 in my girlfriends stock ex ek coupe and it ran great no CEL's and vtec kicked hard ahahaha lol and it was a type r map on the ecu because thats what i have in my ek hatch ehehe

 

Buddy of mine is running a chipped p06 with a b16a map on a single cam turbo b7. Still running a month later.
