Well due to the amount of jackasses out there im not even gonna bother with a poll, ill personally tally up builds and see if its worth doing. If there's some limits you would like to see destroyed, a myth about a motor busted, lemme know!
So here's what I have right now
MY01 Ap1 w/ stock F20C1 motor
AP2 block with scored cyls + blown up pistons
AP1 head w/ cams and all that in good shape
what i'll be buying soon:
AP2 diff
AP2 driveshaft
AP1 tranny
So I was wondering if you guys have any requests for me on the event that I decide to build up my car some more or if you have some insight because we all know that I'm a dumbass some times and overlook things.
I'm thinking this build's already setup pretty well and i'll only be needing:
sleeves
pistons
rods
headwork (gonna do some more research and see if I should try my hand at it since it was so cheap.)
I'm doing more research for now, wondering if any of you know any of the advantages/disadvantages of the AP1 and AP2 cranks aside from the obvious stroke difference.. This AP2 crank seems to be in good condition (the pistons can still move up and down)
so what i was thinking was the AP2 block bored out to 2.4 maybe 2.5, mated to a ported AP1 head with AP1 the stock heavy AP1 cams. of course with aftermarket headstuds, valves, springs, retainers etc. etc.
Any input?
edit: whats a thread without pictures! :p
F22C1 stampage:

Chewy pistons:

Ap1 head

anyone know what color the valvesprings are? are they suppose to be green

head's VIN stamp, anyone wanna run the VIN for me? suppose to have come off a motor that spun a rod bearing.

whats the XL ? i read up on the BW's S366 and 372 but haven't gone in depth, was thinking GT3582R since it'll still be primarily a street car.

who would hate me if i threw on an OBX full-race style manifold? hell, its under 400$ and comes with a lifetime warranty..
I have a friend who used one on an S2000 and was making 430ish to the wheels. It was only for a few months till some one ran him off the road and the car was totaled out.

^--- any reason as to why? i thought the ap1 tranny was capable of 6-700whp before things started shattering, so with cryogen wouldn't it suffice?
