Default Miami, a beautiful place

So every couple of months me and a couple friends go down to Miami, hang out, go to a meet if there is one, and ride around and chill, this time wasn't much different, but we hung out with a lot of different people and we happen to go to a lot of different places (and got lost too many times.) It was an amazing trip overall, and I want to thank everyone who helped give us something to do or even some place for us to chill. We'll definitely be down soon, and we'll try to catch more people to chill when we're down.

On to the pictures. We left Thursday when everyone was out of work/school, and made it down in roughly 2 hours.

Got in semi late, but we didn't want to stay for long, so we hit up South Beach, and chilled around there for awhile. Most people in Miami are probably over South Beach, but with all the supercars and glam, I probably could ever get tired of it. Case in point, leaving South Beach going back to the Condo that we were staying at, a Murcielago crept up on us, and toyed with us for a couple seconds and gave us a nice little pass. One of which I'll never forget, the sound was just too amazing.

We figured with the late night we would be sleeping in really late, but ended up getting up around 9 or 10. We got out and met up with a friend in the area, and he told us about his friend getting tuned that day so we headed over with nothing else to do. So we went over to the shop where his friend was getting tuned (Twilight Performance, in Opa Locka but GREAT place)

I was told this car was going to put down some numbers in upwards of 1000hp. I wouldn't doubt it either after seeing what I did later that day.

[IMG][/IMG]

I won't say what it is, but it put down great numbers for what it was

Man who made it possible.

I wasn't really excited about waiting around for 5+ hours, but it was a good time nonetheless. I wish I got the flames on camera, but it was too quick for me to get, even on a burst setting.

After the tuning it was already dark, and since I don't have a tripod, pictures at night just don't happen anymore. We split for dinner (Ci Ci's FTW! Even though I didn't get any) and made it back to the condo to change and get prepared for the cold front that had rolled through, and then headed out to a local meet. The meet was pretty cool for what it was. Set out on the outskirts of town, and it was actually a pretty big turnout, different variety and a good amount of people. We ended up leaving cause it was getting kinda old, a bunch of cars and everyone saying they have single cams.. in Integras.. Called it a night and headed home.

The next day we wanted to head out to a couple Honda specific junkyards. Honda King and Honda Specialist. Both of which might I say suck, even though it was pretty sweet wondering around Honda King looking at all the misc crap. Typical junkyard overpriced things, and lack of decent parts.

On the way there we did some rolling shots.

Passing a little alley on the right as we went to Honda Specialist, I wanted to make it back to snap some pictures, it was a wall just of some graffiti, made for a pretty good backdrop.

Haha dang, if you're still with me I thank you. I never write this much.

After the pictures we hit up a car wash (the manual spray ones are really few and far between, we hardly found any and had to drive way across town just to find a little one on the side of the gas station.)

We ended up going back by the condo for a little food and left the condo at a reasonable time to hit up Key Biscayne for some pictures. We went to the Key for pictures because it was a great location with the city, and we knew of the location mostly due to our friend John who had shot here for Super Street (http://www.superstreetonline.com/fea..._dx/index.html) and so I asked him where it was and we came out to shoot, at around sunset, which wasn't the greatest for being hand held and without a tripod, but the pictures came out awesome, and I would love to go back.

Afterward Scott and David got Sushi on the Key, then I think we ended up headed back to the condo and tried to get people out to South Beach to chill for awhile. No one ended up coming out so it was just 4 of us. It was a fun time overall. I always enjoy seeing anything from Lambos to Maserati's to Ferrari's and even to Porches and Bently's and Rolls Royces'. After seeing a bit of those and seeing our far share of night life, we came back to the condo to relax (David took the Buddy Club Spec 2 down 95 and we could hear it so clearly from the condo since it was so peaceful and quiet at night.)

The next day was the end of our little vacation. We had packed everything up and I wanted to get pictures in Downtown and at the famous graffiti wall.

We kinda had a hard time finding good one way streets in certain areas with the rest of the city exposed, but then again we didn't really look too hard. Next time I know where we are going to go or where we should go, we were just in somewhat of a hurry and the places weren't that great.

So we headed out of downtown area and got to the graffiti wall, a really amazing sight might I add. The old wall was nice but it really was outdated, and new and upcoming graffiti artists were really putting old techniques and old styles, well, out of style and producing mind boggling pieces of work. Such as some local guys known as CYNIC and SLOW, accompanied by SONE2, CYNICS little brother. All AMAZING artists really. So we know they threw up some pieces on the wall but off to the side, so we made sure we got pictures with their pieces in the background.

A very tiring day that was, I ended up sleeping on the way back and everyone else was really tired and ended up making a stop to relax and to wake up. Eventually getting back in around 3 hours or so with a 30 minute break.

BIG thanks to:
Damian, without you none of this would've happened. Well maybe a couple pictures but otherwise it wouldn've sucked. You and your friends make the stay and time so much more enjoyable. All the Spanish translations and all the new words and phrases we tried to come up with.

Thanks to Scott and David for taking me and dealing with me.

Jillian, and Anna, thanks a lot for letting us use the condo, whenever. I know you'll never read this though.

REX, thanks for the hilarity and good times, and the techno. Kris, Rene, Kevin and all Damian's other friends. Thanks a lot for being down to chill when you were, it was definitely more than worth hanging out with you guys. And always funny. It felt like I knew you guys forever but I just met most of you. Haha, come out with your hand up.

Twilight Performance, for letting us chill and putting down some good numbers on Kris' car. Definitely keeping you guys in mind for anyone's reference in South Florida

John Walsh for letting us know about where on the Key was for that spot. I'm so stoked we got to shoot there.

SLOW, Jeff (CYNIC), and Sone2 for the awesome graffiti up on the wall. It's a shame you guys couldn't get a better spot on the wall, more in the open, but regardless it's some amazing work.

And everyone else who might've had an aid in making this past weekend as awesome as it was.

Hahahah, it was actually a chilly weekend. We had a cold front come through on Thursday night, and it made the weekend so much more enjoyable. It's funny because it's about to get down to freezing temperatures tonight and tomorrow night. It's also 45 out right now.

Thanks !!

Yeah I'm pretty sure the turbo has ate a baby or two. But otherwise the "warm" weather is chill. It gets way too hot here though, even during the afternoon, and it's not even summer Like I said above we had a cold front that weekend and we just got another one.

Thanks guys!

I hate when people say that in Florida, because honestly, the 3-5 months of hot a *****, isn't worth it. The cold weather I wish would last forever.

Hahaha we're just some white boys from a small town, we didn't even have any. Plus we were kinda on the outside of the triangle, so it wasn't that bad. Thanks though
