I have had my '93 Accord LX for about a year now, and I have recently found out I need a new water pump and that while that is being replaced, I should get new timing belts and have the seals checked. My friend said that I would be able to get instruction on here about how to do it for myself. I haven't done much work on cars and have been told it would take a mechanic 4.7 hours to do this job. It is do-able for a layperson? The only equipment I have access to are two ramps.

 

Wouldn't be in that Accord FAQ that thing is useless.
