RHD conversion, NO YES? STUPID?
Ha, alright guys. I have a '94 GSR. I would liek to do a RHD conversion, and online for 900.00 shipped to my door I can get a JDM GSR front clip + firewall, and interior dash cluster pedals. All the things I need to make this happen.
Question though do i need to use that firewall, is there welding and **** involvoed, and is this just plain stupid of me?
K thanks.

doing the conversion is going to take a hell of a lot of work. yes u need to use that firewall and yes there is welding and **** involved. if you know what you are doing then do it. otherwise, get it done by someone who knows what they are doing like a shop with a great reputation. good luck...

Just my $.02, but if your looking for a tricky/high-fab job because your bored, wanna spend money, or just want something different then try swaping a J-series into your DB (now thats worth taking a second glance at). IMO, (if I wanted a RHD) I'd rather buy one imported, or find somebody selling one in the US, then convert it.
Think about how sick you could make a LHD with the money you would spend on the RHD that is no better than stock you just sit on the other side which would most likely throw you
It depends on where you live. There is a bunch of swapped firewall cars runnin around Seattle so its kinda getting played out. Everybody now is stepping their game up and buying legit rhd cars from Japan.
I've always wondered how I would adapt to trying to shift with my left hand (if per say i had to live some where) where RHD's were standard. It would take some getting use to but IMO there's no point in the US, except for style where owning the realthing might make it worthwhile if having a full bumper to bumper jdm vehicle is what you want.
OP save your money and put it in the motor, you wont regret it. Otherwise if RHD is what you want, look into a JDM shell.
Only to fanboys, lol.
Sure, I can appreciate the work it takes to get it done.
Sure, it's cool, I guess.
But is it practical? Lol, no, not when you live in the god damned USA. And who are you trying to impress? It's just a waste of money, unless you really think it's cool to spend all that money to make yourself feel cool. Call me a hater, but to me it's just overdoing it, lol.
"Stay true to JDM style!"...lol. God...

Before you do it, think of how impractical it is to have a RHD car in a LHD country. Passing on a two lane road? Risky. Drive thru ATM, better have a friend. Etc
