Since the search function now sux ***, i was considering getting a ctr carpet for my coupe. How is the fitment and I would assume that since everything is opposite that you would have holes on the pass side where the trunk and gas latch go?

 

it fits just like it stock, other then what you just said (trunk and gas latch)

 

i think the carpet slips under the gas/hatch relese. So it should be covered by the panel on the other side still.

 

I did this for my hatch, it requires little modification, but if you have floor mats, all the imperfections won't show. Check my How-to thread if you like.

Hmm.. I thought the big metal thing behind the driver had to be removed

 

If you have floor mats, it won't show, but if you don't then you will have a hole next to the passenger seat, so as soon as you open the door it will show.

 

I tried but it is extremely hard, that is why some people cut the carpet in that area. I managed to unscrew one side and then twisted it a little to be able the get the carpet through.
