Default Smell of oil burning

I have a 1999 Acura Integra and I had the valve cover sealed replaced but I havibg burning smell like oil. I am sure if prior to the replacement that the oil leaked down and it causes the smell.

Second question, what is the average cost to replace Timing belt and water pump? And will a major tune up help if I don't have the belt replaced as it si expensive?

if your due for the timing belt do it and dont hold off on it. a major tune up will not help not doing a timing belt. a tune up will improve performance, MPG, on how your car runs. i will say at a shop typically your looking at 400-550 on the timing belt depending on if you plan on changoing any of the other belts and stuff...thats how much it costs around here for a b series.

if you're smelling oil...are u sure there is no other leak? another leak going onto the exhaust thats why you are smelling it?
