Top mount manifold
i ran a top mount on my last crx daily...no problems..i picked up 100whp on pumpgas from a log to a custom topmount we made in house ....best thing ever....wish i didnt sell the car....now just got a fullrace ramhorn
sweet thats the type of information i was seeking out. Guess its topmount then, and your correct spendy spendy spendy for a direct fit no modifications need to make it fit topmount lol.
Thanx fella's

I ran a topmount on a dc2 for a while and drove it daily putting 150 miles a day on it as a service car on campus for an electronics company. The commute's travel time was cost effective for the company, it wasn't worth the 60 cents/mile to me but it was fun
For a DD I do recommend v banding everything you can, use loctite and keep a tool kit in the car. I also used stronger extended exhaust studs.

the difference between a topmount and shorter tubular manifold with real merge collector is spool time and midrange. a shorter tubular will give out great midrange and spool characteristics
topmounts IMO are meant for 450+ WHP cars that really need some flow for their motors and minimum backpressure. I don't see a need for such a large manifold on a 300 WHP setup because theres not that much exhaust back pressure being generated

the guy that posted in this thread with the picture his in a ef.. ask him what brand it is.. looks like there is a little hood rubbage on the turbo tho..
yeah they made that one, and from what i can tell they dont have it anymore there are some sites out there that actually make them for an ef, and im probly going to be ordering one soon thanx man
SPA top mount cast FTW. very affordable, flows very well. I prefer it over a tubular top mount that ive run but thats just me. Oh yeah and retain a/c p/s and are able to run up to an S cover t3/t4 so largest you can do turbo wise would be a t3/t67s
Im running an E cover sc63 with .82 hotside 16 psi by 4200rpm. spool is great.

The SPA manifolds mount the turbo at a weird angle...not worth having that cheezy adapter plate as it just makes one more spot for leaks later on.
I totally agree on V banding everything on a daily driver. I have put at least 40k on my turbo setups and the only issues are a couple bolts looseing up every now and then. Tial vband housing is the way to go

the clock flange doesnt leak at all. in fact ive had better luck with no exhaust leaks with this manifold setup than any in the past including tubular.
Yes it does make power. i dont have any print outs but it makes power. Im not just some ricer saying this i tune cars on the side and i know what 350-400whp feels like
due to financial difficulties i cant bring it to the dyno to see what im putting down but i do know on 16 psi the car tears third gear down with bfg's on the highway at 80mph takes a few ponys to do so
Really it will be up to the OP and his preference. There very good manifold, nice thick casting. Believe me I wouldnt back anything that i dont approve of. Ive been through all the different types of manifolds and if you on a budget or even if you just dont want to spend alot or are trying to retain a/c and p/s this is the hands down best option
The only down side is panduckey motorsports went under so cant get the clock flange for it but it still works and fits non the less. Im actually working with someone local to get them made up, waiting on pricing to see if its worth selling them and having them made

I run a topmount in my DD, doesn't work PS - but I remove that regardless. Its a 4-2-1 design, so it actually spools quick and makes decent power. Clears AC with a slimfan on the front of the condenser. It also allows for a normal 4" mandrel elbow, although I only needed a 3". Even works with the stock fan.

I had a bunch, but the forum software change destroyed all my H-T garage pages. Nobody knew what happened with that - even pages from 2001 carried over.
Here's the one I have, doesn't show much though:
