I finally got my zc tranny in and everything but now it seems like it won't go into gears. I was wondering if I needed a (87-89 Integra) short shifter instead of the CRX one i have in there now? If anyone knows anything about this please tell me!! Thanks!

 

Is the tranny in the car or on a bench? Can you find any gears? I have the stanard shifter linkage on mine and it works fine.

 

Did you fill it with oil?
CRX shifter shoild be quite enough, it's a CRX tranny in a CRX anyways. I'd try to see if it works with a stock shifter, just in case.

 

whatever you do make sure it shifts gears while out of the car (having tranny fluid doesn't matter). don't ask me how i know...

 

I finally had enough time to jack it up and look at it. My axle broke where i tried to get it in. The axles splines were messed up to begin with, and didnt allow it to go in properly, but I didnt check the splines before I started, so i put it in with force and it broke when i pulled it out of the garage! I already ordered another axle itll be here monday. Sorry for wasting yalls time!!
