the purpose is that i want one. it adds a couple horsepower but for the most part it makes the intake sound better.

if you want it to sound better get the rbc intake manifold and race header and then check out the sound

Hell if you just want noise buy the chamber intake (whale *****)

 

you know you could just cut some parts out of the intake box or lose the whole intake setup and leave it with an open throttle body, that should make the intake sound louder and maybe gain a hp or 2, then again dont bother me when a rock or something gets sucked up and breaks your car ...

 

i didn't ask for any stupid advise on how to spend my money. i asked if anyone knew where to find one.

 

If it adds a few hp then its a win, OBX sells theirs for like $50 so its one of those things where if you are setting up an aftermarket throttle body and intake manifold, throw one on there, it will net you a few horses. From what I've read it will give you more potential with an SRI over a CAI. I'm still reading up on it, but for a 50 bucks, if you can get a few hp on a dyno, its more than you had so it has its worth.
