Free Track Time - Richmond, VA 08/10
This was posted on the VMSC forum. Free laps at Southside Speedway...
"In addition to the 8/11 Ax at Southside Speedway the club is having a free hot laps day on Saturday 8/10. These are free and open to everyone who drives in a tech inspected car. What this amounts to is open laps around the track with just a few cones to discourage people from getting to close to the wall. This was a members only event last year but with a number of events coming up at SS Tom, the club president, and I felt the experience would do all future Ax entries at SS some good without the pressure of competition, club points or trophies."

Scott, does anyone know what time tech+registration are exactly? I posted on the forum, Ken thinks it's 9AM for the event to start and registration before that. I need to know concretely since Torin with the WRX wants to attend, and wants to follow me over there. We need to know what time to get there. Me personally, I'd get there at some godawful early time, but I get the impression most other people enjoy sleeping.

Hell Corey, you're an ECHC celebrity...I'm sure plenty of people will let you drive their car! We will be swapping cars all day anyway for sure. It's usually a blast, and can't beat the price!

LOL, the competition will be *much* faster this time around... so I better not bring the big shiny trophy from my "Circle-Track-Drags-Experience" or else Richard West will certainly inherit the thing.
PS- I'll stop by for sure, if only to watch and get schooled.
