DIY amber clock help please

has anyone ever done this? if so, how can i do it, and any help will be appreciated

buy a packet of tab dividers for a binder make sure theres an orange plastic tab and glue the tab over the clock then put it all back together and your clock will be amber

for what kind of the car?
on my EK the clock is in the stereo so thats gonna be impossible to do
